Yes, I have been having pain in my buttocks and down my left leg really bad and somewhat down my right. it has gotten so bad I can hardly stand up now. I had hip revision in June and then I fractured the other one in Sept. I use a walker on advice of me doctor. But this started a week ago and has gotten worse. Heat seems to help a little. Can you help tell me what to do?

What Causes Pain On Buttocks And Legs?
Hello, Thanks for your query. All the symptoms in your description typically suggests a Lumbar disc disease with radiculopathy. I suggest you to have MRI scan of lumbar spine to know the exact pathology. The management protocol depends on the severity of nerve compression. Temporary pain relief can be obtained by using an appropriate analgesic or muscle relaxant ,Pregabalin & methylcobalamine supplements. Consult an orthopedic surgeon for further workup and management. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
