What Causes Pain On The Vaginal Area While Treating DVT?

I m pretty sure I have vulvudynia. Only hurts on the outside of the vagina, labia area. I am 66yr old. I do not wear tight underwear, stay in a wet bathing suit and have not had sex in a loooong time. It s been bothering me for a few months. I don t have a bladder infection & don t feel that it s a yeast infection. I m on therapeutic Coumadin for DVT s. Was on a seven day dose of levequin in March.Need to find a solution.

Hello,

Firstly, you should get checked by a gynecologist to see the lesion. Most probably is an atrophy of vagina and vulva due to lack of estrogen and ageing.

You can use Hyaluronic cream found OTC to help cope with it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
