What Causes Pain, Redness And Swelling In Back And Hip After Colonoscopy?
My mother had a colonoscopy a week ago. She had a polyp removed and was diagnosed with diverticulosis. Today,a week later, she is experiencing severe back and hip pain and it is red and swollen. It even hurts to touch it gently and she can barely walk. Maybe the two aren t related, but could it be an emergency? To my knowledge, she does not have a fever. Thank you for your time.
Hi Welcome to healhcaremagic After going through your query I concluded that your mother may be having cellulitis of hip and back but as she is not having fever so it does not seems to be emergency. But it requires clinical examination. Antibiotics and analgesic are useful to give relief. Vitamin B and C are helpful in recovery. You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered.
