What Causes Pain Shoulder Joints After Taking Eliquis?

I started taking Eliquis the beginning of september. I developed pain in my shoulder joints and have on occasion had tingling on my feet bottoms. I also have noticed that I am tired. I was going to take coumadin but thought eliquis would be better since no routine blood testing needed. Do you think eliquis is the cause of my problems.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

All medications are associated with potential side effects that may or may not occur.

Eliquis can be associated with musculosketal pain in 1 to 10 % of persons who use the medication so it is a possibility that it is contributing to your symptoms.

You may want to speak to your doctor about this to see if an alternative can be used.
Your doctor would also eliminate other possible causes of the pain.

I hope this helps
