What Causes Pain While Sitting After A Bowel Movement?

I am 24 years old, 5'9", and about 140 pounds. After a bowel movement, I have terrible pain when I sit down, and for awhile I couldn't stand up. I've gone to the bathroom again, had a second bowel movement, but it's still painful. It feels a bit like gas, but I'm not sure why I can't sit.

Hi,

I understand your concern.

The pain you feel after having a bowel movement could be due to colitis attack.
Internal hemorrhoids can cause it too.

I recommend to run a colonoscopy to see changes in your colon in order to get treated adequately.

Correction of causative agent can ease the pain.

All the best.
