Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

Repair of Bladder Prolapse (Cystocele) or Urethra Prolapse (Urethrocele) involves
bladder lift surgery , which lifts the urethra and/or bladder into their normal position. There are certain risks of cystocele and urethrocele repair, which include:Urinary incontinence,Urinary retention,Infection & bladder injury.
Do exercises to strengthen the supporting muscles around the vagina and bladder.
To start, tighten the muscles you use to stop the flow of urine. Hold for a
count of ten, then relax the muscles slowly. Repeat several times a day.
Avoid & relieve constipation:
• Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water each day.
• Eat high-fiber foods. Fresh fruit, vegetables, and whole grain bread are good options.
• Don’t strain with bowel movements, and don’t use an enema.
• Take a stool softener or laxative if needed.
Urination
Don’t let your bladder get too full. It’s easier if you urinate more often.
Wipe front to back after going to the bathroom. This helps prevent infection.
