What Causes Pain While Urinating?

My son is about 7 weeks old, he does not cry when urinating or fuss when he does. He did however wake up this morning with what looked like a tiny bit of blood in his urine. Should I be taking him to see his pediatrician or to the ER? Or will he be fine?

a blood in urine could be urethritis as long as it's fresh blood. check his penis for any injury- retract the prepuce to see and if it recurs only see the doctor and not to get panic.
