What Causes Pain While Urination And In Abdomen?

I have had a uti since march18 I have had trimethoprim which didn t work then nitrofuratoin didn t work either I have been takin ofloxacin and metranidazole for the past week with another week to go now my doctor had rung me after the results of my last urine sample and swabs and prescribed me clarithromycin I am still in pain when urinating and feel generally unwell with pain in my abdomen I had mirena coil fitted march 7

Read and Reviewed your query in context to your health issues.
In the given scenario and history facts,You seem to suffer from-IUD induced irritation with urinay tract infection with Vaginitis.
It could be from Bacterial /strept-B infections / or could be from Candida yeast / or Vaginal Fungal infections.
Other causes of accompanied diabetes/ anti-cancer medicines/ steroid medicines, need to be ruled out.
Proper hygiene of the private parts-would keep this infection away.
Also other causes of UTI post Mirena need to be ruled out.Hope this reply would help you to resolve the health issues with help of doctors attending on you.
