What Causes Pain While Urination?

My son is experiencing pain when he urinates. It has been going on for two days. He feels the need to urinate often. The pain seems to be worst towards the end of urination- he will stop the flow of pee and wince and moan, then continue. The latest problem is he is also complaining of his back hurting. I am worried this is his kidneys. I am taking him to the doctor as soon as they open up as the back pain developed overnight. Do you know what this could be?

Hi,
Thanks for posting the query,

This could be due to urinary tract infection.
Give your son tab clavum BD, tab Nice BD, tab omee BD foe 5 days.
Give him a plenty of water.
If the symptoms persist get a checkup done also a urine test is required...

Take care!
