What Causes Painful And Blood Stained Bowel Movements?

dear doctor, Summer of last year i had a sever case of hemroids. I went to my local doctor and he give me something that should of cleared it up. The went away but then it happened again. As the months went on, They would clear up and come back. Now to pesent date.. They feel like they are up more inside, and the past 2 weeks i have been using the bathroom more and more frequently a day. as much as 5-6 times to be exact. But now i am having strang bowel movements. I go from direrria to hard stool, to soft stool very frequently. Also with the hard stool i can feel the hemroids act up and along with my poop, there is very red blood, and very painful at that! Alos i have been more gaseous, but it dont s smeel and my poop dont smell that bad either, What is wrong doctor?? My fear is cancer!

Hi,

Altered bowel movements itself is an indication for proper further clinical evaluation, examination and to be supported by appropriate investigations.
I would advise you the following in such a case:
Repeated stool tests and to get an appropriate prescription based treatment from your Doctor.
To get proper investigations like Ano-proctoscopy, colonoscopy, tests of blood particularly for thyroid, liver and pancreatic functions.
X-ray of abdomen, ultrasonography and CT scan may be needed.
A proper course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics can help to solve the problem.
