What Causes Painful Bowel Movement?

Hi I have for the last 2 days suffered pain in my bottom. There is no bleeding or irritation. It hurts to sit, stand and even lie or turn over in bed. There is no evidence of swelling. I am not constipated but do have a slight discomfort in going to the toilet. I have applied internally special cream for the obvious problem but without any relief. Should I just hope it settles down ohn its own?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to internal hemorrhoid.

I suggest you to use an anti-hemorrhoid cream for local application.

I also suggest taking daily fiber supplements.

I recommend soaking in warm water for 15 to 20 minutes

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
