What Causes Painful Bowel Movements?

I have a problem with painful bowel movements, but no apparent bleeding. I have felt myself down there and it appears that the whole area externally is bumpy. This problem is only external. How can I get rid of it? It's not getting any worse but not any better.

Hello,

These are possible hemorrhoids (which can be there in absence of bleeding).

Get primary relief with sitz bath, anti-inflammatory drugs, managing soft stools with bulk laxative; confirmatory management with clinical examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
