What Causes Painful Frequent Urination?

Hi Dr,Thank you for taking the time to read my post! I am a 21 year old female. Recently, I had unprotected sex and the day after, I had pelvic pains. Then, i started have symptoms of a UTI (have had many before) like dysuria and pain during urination. What I thought was foul smelling urine, turned out to be foul smelling discharge from my vagina. It was white and thick but not like cottage-cheese. I have used an OTC yeast infection kit but now my vagina is burning and I am still having pain/frequent urination! The smell has gone away but I m not sure if there is something more going on.

Looking at your symptoms it seems to be UTI either bacterial vaginosis or trichomoniasis

Have plenty of fluids to get your genitourinary tract to flushed off

Get your urine tested for culture and sensitivity after confirmation of invading pathogen take a course of antibiotics or antiprotozoal to get rid of infection
take tab levocetirizine for itching and tab acetaminophen for pain relief
