What Causes Painful Intercourse And Brown Colored Period?

I had a yeast infection amd in that time i got off my birthcontrol, it seemed like my yeast infection was gone but i was getting a period but the period seems more like a brownish color than usual. And i had sex with my boyfriend and it was really painful(it felt like his penis was just rubbing on bare skin even though it was really wet down there). Im kinda freaking out on what it could. Any ideas? Please and thank you.

Hi,

It can be due to associated infection like yeast or bacterial vaginosis.

You can consult a gynecologist and start on antibiotics soon.

As of now, you can take analgesics like Mefenamic Acid for pain relief.
