My Partner and I have been having unprotected sex for some time now. We have sex about 3 times a week and today i experienced some pain while having sex in the female region. I have never felt this pain before. Its not the regular sexual pain. My nipples have been tender for about 2 weeks now and I am not due for my menstral until the end of the week. Am I Pregnant?

ello,
Welcome to HCM,

Pain during intercourse (dyspareunia) is a pain in a woman's labia, vagina, pelvic areas during or after sexual intercourse.

A woman may perceive pain during intercourse even without any physical cause. Sexual pain without an apparent physical cause may have psychological origins.

The most common cause may be changes in sexual behavior, increase in sexually transmitted diseases and increased willingness to discuss sexual behavior.

The pain can be reduced by following measure
1.Applying lubricating gels to the outer sexual organs
2.Sex toys, such as vibrators or dildos may also be useful.
3.Should talk with the health care provider about the use of vaginal dilator.
Thank you.
