What Causes Painful Joints, Body Weakness And Low Hemoglobin Levels?

I recently spent over a week in the hospital. Symptoms where painful joints. Painful muscles. Weakness everywhere. Could barely walk. They tested for everything. My Hemoglobins where very low. Iron was very low. Had sediments in my blood. Had to have a blood transfusion. When it is all said and done. I was sent home with no diagnosis. What could cause this
