What Causes Painful Lump In Lower Back?

hi . my dad has a lump in his lower back . there s only one and there isn t one on the other side so my dad says its not a bone . he thinks it s a tumor . he says it hurts and i always have to massage his back everyday so i want to know what it is . it moves when i massage it .

Thanks for your query.
If the lump is moving when you massage it , it is most likely to be lipoma.
The best way to diagnose is ti have an ultrasonography examination and FNAC =fine needle aspiration cytology, if required.

Somehow I am of the opinion- if there is a lump - which is not a normal part of the , why would one like to keep it- keep the tensions of thinking it to be a cancer, keep it in the body to grow and cause complications..
The best way is to consult a Surgeon- request him get this out, send for examination, confirm the diagnosis..
