What Causes Painful Periods With Large Blood Clots?

purple bleeding during period and large blood clots, should I be worried? In the past I have bleed for 4 months straight, I lost 65 pounds in those 4 months. I underwent a cone bx and the bleeding stopped. The periods are very painful and I should be going for a check every year, but don t. Is this anything I should be worried about?

Excessive bleeding along with weight loss os concerning for anu uterine pathologies or hormonal imbalances like thyroid issues.
Please follow up with your ObGyn. You will need pelvic examination, pelvic ultrasound and blood investigations at this point.
