General & Family Physician 's  Response
It is a boil. Boil occurs as an effect of skin infection. The growth begins at hair follicle or oil glands beneath the skin. Boils occur initially as small, red lumps which will eventually build up some pus under the raised skin. Boils commonly cause severe pain and pus eruptions. Boils are mainly caused by a germ called staphylococcal bacteria. When it ruptures, it causes bleeding.
1.     Amoxicillin 500 mg thrice daily per oral for 5 days
2.     Ibuprofen 600 mg per oral after meal if pain occurs. Otherwise avoid it
3.     Hot fomentation with slight warm water to enhance local blood circulation
4.     Do not squeeze it
Thanks
