After having sex during my period my partner and I experienced pain when urinating, for me, like cistytis. After visiting the doctors to find no urinary infection and it going on for some weeks my boyfriend lied to get a free chlamydia test saying he was under 21. His test came back positive for chlamydia but he was told by his doctor that because he is actually 36 it maybe another type of infection but they wouldn t know without doing another test. We have both had antibiotics as treatment, but can chlamydia tests show up other infections that are not it itself? I had a test in January which was negative.
