What Causes Pale Color Of Stools?

My son sent a pic of his stool to some doctor here...He is took and endoscopy and an ultrasound and both tests came back negitive... Now in his mind he thinks he has cancer...He sent this pic of the stool to this doctor and his man told him he has pale stool and scared the shit out of him.... I have no idea why an online doctor would do that.....

Hello,

Pale stool may be due to obstructive jaundice or hepatitis or cholecystitis or Infections etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Get it done stool for stercobilinogen and urine examination for bile salts and pigment. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
