What Causes Pale Stools In A Child Suffering From Constipation?

My daughter is 6 1/2 years old, and after very bad stomach cramps, I took her to the doctor, where we found she has a lot of stool in her large intestine, so the dr gave her something to help with constipation. Today and yesterday her stool was very pale, is that a reason of convern? Thank you got your answer.

HI,
Welcome to HCM forum,
No its not a concern. After a period of constipation, the stool consistency and colour will be different. Soon, it will become normal consistency and colour.
Happy to help.
