What Causes Pallet Like Bowel Movement From Birth To A 5 Year Old?

Hello Doctor,

My 5 year old son passes pallet (dry small balls like) like stool since birth. Though he goes to toilel daily and our doctor is saying it is normal, we feel it is not normal. He takes a lot of fruits and juices regularly and rarely take junk food. Please advice us.

Hi.... Many thanks for consulting in Health Care Magic. More important than stool pattern...in this she group is growth and development. If he's active, growing well, height & weight are on par with peers & developmentally normal & his academic skills are fine...do not worry. Your pediatrician is probably right. Hope my answer was helpful for you. Happy to help anytime. Further clarifications and consultations on Health Care Magic are welcome.
