What Causes Passage Of Dark Colored Urine?

hi. yesterday i noticed that my urine color was like ice tea. the wired thing is that since then i have been constantly dehydrated. I am drinking water constantly and yet i can't seem to stop feeling thirsty. Even with the increase intake of water my urine stays the same color. What could be the cause for something like this?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The main causes of dark tea urine are:
*Liver,hepatitis or cirrhosis.
*Hemolytic anemia when blood cells are destroyed.
*Bleeding from urinary tract
*Some drugs like Antimalarials, Flagyl, Nitrofurantoine, Senna, Levodopa.

I recommend you immediately to do a total blood count, and liver enzymes, bilirubin direct and indirect. Urine will be normal color when cured underlined cause.

As per my clinical experience, the underlying issue seems pathological, such as liver, bile drainage disorder or others (as the color is persistent after increased water intake).
