Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,
Stomach bloating with mucus in stools is not a uncommon symptoms seen nowadays.so you will need some medical attention and should be concerned.
Can you tell me since how many days you are facing this problem and is there any specific diet (apart from sweets) after which you have bloating or mucus after bowel movement.
The causes could be excess stomach acid or
acute gastritis,
gastroenteritis, or colitis but should be evaluated further by various tests.
You must undergo routine blood investigations and H.pylori, liver function tests, urinalysis and stool test, abdominal ultrasound and gastrointestinal endoscopy or
colonoscopy to detect the underlying cause.
Treatment is mainly depend on the cause but you may take symptomatic treatment meanwhile.
You may go for antibiotics treatment to your family physician or some local doctor.
Antacids like h2 blockers (ranitidine) or proton pump inhibitors (
pantoprazole or rabeprazole) will help to reduce excess acid production in stomach.
You can also take digene gel or liquid or ulcero-protective agents like sucralfate or bismuth subsallicylate to reduce the burning sensation.
Better to visit physician or gastro-physician once.
Regards,
