What Causes Pelvic Pain After Appendix Removal?

I'm 20 years old, 5'10, and 160 lbs. I've been sexually active for about 1 1/2 years, and have been taking ortho tri cyclen for that time. A little over a year ago I had my appendix removed laproscopically. Over the past five months I've had problems dealing with pelvic pain during foreplay. Something as simple as kissing can cause it. It is a dull ache similar to menstrual cramps. There is no added pain with intercourse. The level of pain varies. Rarely I will experience sharp pains with an orgasm. I originally started the pill due to severe dysmenhorrea. I have recently had a routine exam and have no stds
