What Causes Persistent Burning Sensation And Stiffness On Bottom Of Foot?

Nothing anatomically wrong w ith my right foot and no arthritis but I have continuing burning on the bottom of my foot and stiffness and also swelling of my right ankle. Foot dr. recommended a good sneaker but my foot is still toast at end of day with achyness, etc. Also seems to be bad upon rising.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to vitamin B complex deficiency. Vitamin B 6 and b12 deficiency can cause such problems. Taking supplements of those will be helpful. Also check your vitamin b12 and d3 levels in blood also. Check your status of blood vessels by consulting a general surgeon and do a doppler study if necessary.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
