What Causes Persistent Depressive Symptoms Despite Taking Medication?
I started taking Remeron 45mg, seven years ago when l was hospitalized with severe depression, along with Paxil 20mg in the am. I am positive that it was the Remeron lifted my depression after one month. Since then, my dr. Reduced the Remeron in half, and 1 and one half yrs. ago was switched to Celexa20mg, along with the Remeron. Now l have become depressed again and dr. Has put me on Lexapro20mg with th Remeron. It has been a month and l am still depressed. Could l be taking too much medication? I am afraid to stop the Remeron because l know it saved me seven yrs. ago. Help, please
