What Causes Persistent Lower Abdominal Pain And Tenderness While Having Fibromyalgia?

For the past couple of weeks, I have experienced lower abdominal pain and tenderness. It really hurts when I cough. Feels like my abdomen is ripping open. I have also experienced more fatigue than normal and feel really cold, but no fever. I feel achy, again, more than normal (I suffer from fibromyalgia.)

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is a part of fibromyalgia complex.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief.

Generally, the symptoms will subside by itself.

If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
