What Causes Persistent Right Sided Shoulder Pain?

I have been having right shoulder pain for about 3 weeks. It is specially painful when I try to reach around behind my back. For example to hook or unhook my bra. Or when I lie down with my arm above my head I lose almost all strength and have a hard time lifting my arm. What could this be from? I do not recall any injuries. The pain does dull with ibuprofen.
