What Causes Persistent Upper Abdominal Pain With Heart Burn?

I ve had upper right abdominal pain, like heartburn, for 4 days now. Tenderness to touch and uncomfortable. Taking antacids and Zantac 150. Symptoms are only slightly decreasing. Today bowel movements is a little painful. Do I ride this out or seem medical attention?

You can be prescribed rabeprazole 20mg OD for week

Ciprofloxacin and metronidazole like broad spectrum antibiotic can be prescribed

Avoid gastric irritants like...
_excess tea, coffee
_excess spicy foods
_smoking
_stress

Cooked oatmeal help in soothing stomach

Include yogurt daily in diet

If no improvement than further work up needed
