What Causes Persistent Vomiting In A Child Despite Having Domstal?

My 2 and half year old son is vomiting even after having water.. vomited 5 times.. gave him domstal that too he vomited.. he has not taken ors also..and is sleeping.. what should i do.. should i wake him for medicine or food or should i let him sleep till morning?

Hello,

If your child is not able to keep down water then it would be advisable to get him admitted so that injectable antiemetic can be administered.

If he continues to have vomiting s then there is a chance that he may Develop dehydration.

You can try and give him small sips of ORS but if he vomits it out then take him to emergency care as soon as possible.
