What Causes Persistent Vomiting?

My daughter has had vomiting for a month now. .her vomit was brown at first and here within the last couple weeks it has turned to white foamy and yellow stuff. Her vomiting is happening of a morning when she wakes up. She is on a pill for nausea and a laxative for a small bowel blockage. She has had several bowel movements but the vomiting is continuing. She has had blood work (glucose level was a little high), urine test (UTI) and xray (bowel blockage). She has also had dizzyness (room spinning), loss of appetite and yellowing of the skin (this occured only once that I am aware of). She has had breath

Hi. Thanks for posting your question on HCM.
There are many causes of persistent vomitings and you should note down following points
1) The most common cause is some Gastro oesophageal reflux disease and peptic ulcer. Avoid spicy and junk foods and take more of water and milk.
2) Avoid taking laxatives without any proper medical advice and the obstruction in small or large bowel is to be ruled out taking proper medical advise.
3) Persistent vomiting can be due to Hepatitis also that means due to some infection and inflammation in liver, so get the liver function tests done .
If persistent vomitings are associated with head spinning etc, Imaging of the brain may also be needed .
There is nothing to get worried but your daughter need a proper medical consultation to rule out these common causes.
Hopefully, i have answered your queries.
