What Causes Persistent Vomiting Of Phlegmy Yellow Liquid By A Toddler?

My 3 year old woke up We attempted to let him cry it out but he continued to cry until he vomited. I gave them a little bit a water but stopped since he has continued to vomit every 15 to 20 minutes for the last hour . He is not to the point where he is vomiting slightly yellow and very phlegmy. It s pretty scary because as he s trying to throw up it almost appears as if he s choking on it . Has anyone else experienced this before?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should send him to hospital because he is vomiting too often. He may need to get rehydrated. The most probable cause of this frequent vomiting may be food poisoning.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
