What Causes Persisting Cold And Dry Cough?
hello, I had a bad cold with a cough, I thought I was getting better, When I was coughing I was coughing up a lot of brown green flem. Now that is gone, My cough is still persisting, it is now a dry cough, its been over 2 weeks since I 1st came down with the cold. I m concerned that I have reinfected myself or?

Hello,
Brown or green phlegm isn't normal. Usually, it is caused by a respiratory infection like bronchitis, pneumonia, abscess, etc.
I suggest you make chest X-ray and consult with your doctor because it needs antibiotics.
If your sputum is brown again it is possible to be something serious like pulmonary embolism.
