Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Is he having any cough or fever? If not, we need not worry. It is common for babies to have some noisy breathing or phlegm like feeling, which is due to nasal block and secretions is throat and mouth. True phlegm needs evaluation with blood count and X-ray, followed by antibiotics accordingly. Nothing wrong in giving vaccine if there was no fever, cough or breathing difficulty.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
