What Causes Phlegm In The Throat For A Baby During The Night?

7 month old health baby girl. has phlegm in throat - wakes up at night - coughs - goes limps and stops breathing. patting her on the back and slightly shaking her seems to get her out of it. during the day she is fine - no temperature, nose is clear only at night the problem.

Her problem is night time post nasal drip.Causes could be allergic or superadded bacterial infection.She will benefit from antiallergic medicine and one course of antibiotic.
