What Causes Pimple Like Rash Growing On Groin, Butt Area And Inner Thighs?

i have been getting bites or something in my groin and butt area. also my inner thighs. it started when i moved into a new house. i am not sexually active so i have no idea what it is. the sores looked like pimples and itch really bad. now they are getting bigger and a new one shows up daily.

Hi,

I can understand your concern for pimple like rash growing on groin, butt area and inner thigh.

After reading your query it appears to be due to fungal infection. You have not told us your age and any other problem. Fungal infection of the skin is quite common due to infection and hygiene. It is aggravated by hot weather and the further spread of infection to nearby of other parts.

To prevent the further spread maintain good hygiene by taking two times bath, wearing cotton clothes and change of clothes two times. You can also use any good medicated antiperspirant powder. Stay away from hot and humid climate.

You can use clotrimazole cream or terbinafine cream over the affected areas under medical supervision. I suggest you to take antifungal tablet by mouth such as fluconazole 150 mg alternate days for 15 days.
