What Causes Pinching Pain In Underarm On Movement After Knee Replacement?

I have had a total knee replacement. I have been laying on my back 95% of the time. It has been 11 days since my surgery and yesterday I started feeling a strong pinch under my left arm pit. It usually only happens when I push myself up or try to turn one way or the other. Could it be from laying so much? I am a some what active female (56 years old) whom is always working or doing something, and very seldom sit down. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I cancluded that you may be having muscular pain which may be related to long duration laying down on bed. You can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. You are advised not to lying down for more time. You should also sit for something and if possible you should walk for some times. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any further questions then don't hesitate to writing to us . I will be happy to help you.
