What Causes Pink Vaginal Bleeding While On Contraceptive Pills?

Hello, I am a sexually active 20 year old female who is currently using the oral contraceptive Aleese. I have not missed a single pill, and have regularly been taking it at roughly the same time (within a particular hour frame). My boyfriend and I do partake in unprotected sex, but he has never finished inside when that does happen. Today was the last day of my active pills, but I have noticed some pink/brown discharge 2 days ago, a little bit of a pink tint when i wiped last night, and some more brown discharge today. I haven t gotten any discharge the last couple of times before my period... should I be concerned? Thank you in advance.

Hi, I think it can happen sometimes while using oral contraceptive pill. You may get your periods in few days. But if it persists and is associated with pain, it can be due to some vaginal infection also. Get a pelvic examination done. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. Hope it helps.
