Hello,

As your blood test has been reported negative for pregnancy, I would ask for a proper clinical evaluation to rule out local causes, exclude infections through urinalysis, vaginal/cervical swabs and a pap smear and get a pelvic sonogram preferably in the trans-vaginal route to exclude pelvic causes.

If your hypothyroid state is under control through medication, this should not be the cause. Other causes include sudden weight changes, stress and certain medications. Please do not stress. Proper management can be planned after a proper appraisal of the situation. Maintain proper hydration and nutrition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam,
