What Causes Pins And Needles Sensation And Pain In Leg?
i was diagnose tb of the bone i had removal of abcsess at my back and was given refatir for 3 mos. and the rest for 9 mos.was refinah i just finished it this month i found a hard ball at my back which am sure its my bone so iwas sent for an mri and the doctor said that it is likely to be the spinous process of L5 vertebrae which has become prominent as a result of collapse.i have pain now at my left thigh downt to my leg and having pins and needles,pain at my leg CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON?
Hello, You have a collapsed vertebra in the spine due to tuberculosis and it is causing stretching of nerves of the spinal cord. So I would suggest you to get MRI. If there is abcess than you might need to take medicines for little longer time. Some time there is healed tissue and it is causing pressure on the cord.So it can be cured by surgery. Some time as I mentioned earlier it can be stretching of the cord and you might need surgery to take care of the spinal canal shape. I hope this answer will be useful for you.
