What Causes Pins And Needles Sensation In Left Calf, right Knee And Buttock?
Just had lumbar microdiscectomy L5-S1. 6 days post op I had an erection and ejaculated and shortly thereafter I noticed pins and needles in my foot and slight pain in my left calf, right knee and buttock. Could this be related and cause a problem?Thank you.Joey
Hello, I have studied your case. Some amount of tingling and numbness is common after such surgery and this is because of either irritation of nerve during surgery or some time it can be due to collection of blood over nerve root. I would suggest you to follow these . 1.Rest 2.Tablet Gabapin NT one daily at night time. 3.Tablet Pregabalin one daily. I hope your symptoms will improve in a week or two. Otherwise you can go and discuss this with your doctor. Let me know if there is any other followup questions. thanks
