What Causes Platelet Count Of 1,000,000/ccm In Infant?

Hi I have a 6 month old daughter. She went for a routine check up yesterday and they took blood. They called me back today and told me to bring her back in to take more blood because she had a platelet count of 1,000,000/ccm. What can be the cause of this? Should I be worried?

Hello, no need to worry,it is absolutely normal if the baby is taking feed properly, no evidence of bleeding from any site .
