What Causes Pneumonia In A New Born Baby?

My granddaughter was just diagnosed today, born on the 15th, she has had difficulty breathing, in a neonatial unit in Tacoma, also has phemonia, was due on the 6th, the mother had preclampthia, and they had to take the baby early, she was born 7lbs 3 ounces,,,does the weight help her sometimes, her second child was only 4 lbs at birth.

Pneumonia at this age could be because of:
1. Lung prematurity.
2. Lack of good immune response from the baby.
3. Congenital pneumonia.
4. If the baby was on a ventilator, then ventilator-associated pneumonia is one possibility.
