Hello, I am 43 and have 4 children, I have been under a gyeanocologist for 2 years. I have a 'small' rectocele, so he says. He recommended pelvic floor exercises with a therapist, but to be honest I didn't take them seriously. I am doing them now alot however, and noticed I dont leak urine so much now and I don't leak feaces anymore as much as I used to, although sometimes I don't complete evacuation of a stool.,and go back to the loo. So those areas are improved but I now am aware of a poking out feeling, like a tampon comming out, and occasional soreness in the vagina and pins and needlles feeling on and off. The thing is is that I don't really want to go down the surgery route yet, and wondered whether my gyean would let me try a pessary? The incontinence has improved both ends but don't like this poking out feeling, feels like a big rectocele not a small one. When I look at it in the mirror it doesn,t look that much different than 2 years ago, can you advise me what to do. Gynean wants me to do a pad test next week, but I,m not leaking really!! Confused! Thankyou for any help. Debbie
