What Causes Poor Sensation In Hands Along With Dizziness?

Hi so I m just going to get to the point. So I ve noticed that when I try to lay down on my stomach and arch my back even a little bit I start to lose sensation in my hands or I get light headed to the point wear I get drowsy. I don t know if this is a back injury or I m pinching something. I did gymnastics when I was younger so I don t know if this is an after effect. It s really strange but its in my lower spinal column on the same level as my kidneys. The areas that get weaker or numb are my arms to my hands. It also makes me not be able to move my hands as easily as I should be able to. Thank you for your time.

Hello!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

Your symptoms could be related to a cervical spine disorder, although your complaints are not really typical.
For this reason, I recommend performing a cervical spine MRI study to investigate for this possible disorder.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Best wishes, Dr. Aida
