What Causes Popping Sensation In Rib Cage?

Hello. I have a constant popping sensation under my rib cage on the right hand side. It only came on a about 3 weeks ago. I m waiting to see a colectoral surgeon in a few weeks as my doctor suspects anal fissures. They are unsure. All other treatments have failed. I am just wondering would the popping sesbsation be linked?

I Dont think it is related to anal fissure..
this site popping in chest is usually twitches due to anxiety or caffeine intake ..
