What Causes Pressure Behind Eyes And The Back Of Head After Singing Loudly?

I was singing loudly when a pressure and pain built up behind my eyes and the back of my head rendering me unable to continue. After a few minutes the the pain was gone, but a lingering discomfort and pressure remains behind my eyes and in the back of my head. It has been 3 days and any attempt at strenuous activity (singing included) begins to stimulate these pressured areas in my head in an uncomfortable manner. WHAT HAS HAPPENED?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms could be suggestive of a sinus issue or occipital neuralgia. I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and performing a sinus X-ray study. In the meantime, I would recommend taking indomethacine twice daily for the pain.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
