What Causes Pressure In Lower Abdomen When Suffering From Hydrocele?
I have been to the dr and he told me I have a hydrocele. My right testicle is transuminent so I believe he is right about the diagnosis. However I have a tight pressure of my lower abdominal and I ve been somewhat constipated. I do not see any signs of a hernia lump but it s starting to worry me. What should I do?
Get examined by a urologist. Get required blood tests and imaging tests (ultrasound, etc.) done. Your symptoms may be indicative of communicating hydrocele or inguinal hernia. Communicating hydrocele can occur in adults. It occurs due to an opening between the scrotum and abdominal opening from which the fluid accumulates.
Left untreated it may cause the development of hernia, inguinal hernia. You are suggested to get physically examined to detect hernia or communicating hydrocele and to rule out any developing malignancy. Get treated at the earliest. It is treated with NSAIDs, one after food if you have pain. Hydrocele is commonly treated by surgery. If hernia is detected, your doctor may give you a supportive truss for relieve from discomfort. Enlarging or painful hernia is treated by surgery.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
